George Shahinian
George is a senior partner of Economos Chartered Accountants and a Director of Econ Financial Services. He offers significant insight into value creation and risk management, particularly for small to medium enterprises. With over 25 years in the accountancy profession, George brings to the committee expertise in areas of business and corporate advisory, taxation and strategic planning. he has also been instrumental in helping his clients through the challenges experienced by new businesses in their early stages. George is a Chartered Accountant, holds a Master’s Degree in Business, is ASIC RG 146 compliant and a registered Tax Agent.
Alex Dimos
Alex is a Financial Adviser with over 20 years experience across several disciplines in the financial services industry. Alex commenced his career in 1995 with an ASX listed insurance company where he held various management roles that offered him exposure to underwriting, claims & business development. Alex left the insurance industry in the year 2000 to pursue his interest in equity and capital investment markets. Currently, Alex is a Director of Econ Financial Services where he is charged with the responsibility of developing and maintaining an extensive financial planning advisory business. Alex holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Diploma in Financial Planning.
Alex Hung
Alfred has taken on the role as director at Econ Capital, bringing with him a wealth of business knowledge and experience over the course of his more than 15 years in the accounting and finance industry. Having constructed and managed investment portfolios for his financial planning clients over the last 8 years, who all have different risk and return requirements. Alfred is well equipped to analyse the risk and returns aspects when reviewing investment opportunities. Alfred is a Chartered accountant and Financial Adviser at Econ Financial Services. He holds a Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Commerce and Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning.
Thomas Bombotas
Thomas has over 20 years experience in advising private businesses on how to achieve their financial performance goals and manage risk associated with tax and the changing economic environment. His exposure to a diverse range of industries such as construction, hospitality, property services, digital media and technology-based start-ups has allowed Thomas to a develop a strong understanding of the opportunities that these industries present and challenges that need to be overcome so they can achieve their financial objectives. Thomas is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Tax Adviser and registered Tax Agent. He holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting and is currently studying towards a Masters of Business Administration.
